Vinyl Cleaning

Vinyl Cleaning

So many folks just don't know they need to  care for their vinyl, to prevent thinning, cracking and fading.   These are the steps to follow.

  1. Gather: bucket of warm water, magic eraser, crusader (multi cleaner), two rags and Surface Guard (vinyl protectorate).
  2. Start at front of boat and spray Crusader, let set for a min then wipe off with Magic eraser and then a wet rag, removing all residue left from the cleaner.
  3.  Spray Surface Guard, with 2nd rag (do not let Surface Guard set uneven) wipe easy pushing the Surface guard around the whole area.
Do this when purring boat in storage, then in spring coming out of storage, and during summer every month.  Upholstery is not cheep folks so take care of it.  The above mentioned cleaning products can be found at R&M Marine, Inc. / Boat Sales
